I remember answering the call, the bride on the line said she was interested in booking a wedding for November 15th or 16th. I thought to myself, of 2020, but she was looking for literally just a few weeks away. In just a short amount of time, together, we created a day to remember!
Although Tiffany and Kevin had only been engaged a short time, some family circumstances lead them to plan their wedding a little sooner! Tiffany was a very calm and easy going bride and was just delighted with the space at Four Eleven York. She wanted to hold the ceremony in the courtyard and have a small cocktail reception there afterwards, and a coursed out dinner inside the inn.
She booked the Four Eleven York suite for the night before the big day and the Magnolia Suite for her to get ready in the next morning. November 15th brought a steady drizzle of rain and cold, but Tiffany was determined to have the ceremony outside hoping for a glimpse of sun. Just a few short hours before go time, we decided to go with the back up plan. Ceremony inside the inn, reception in the restaurant, and dinner in the inn. As it turns out, the groom’s parents were married on a rainy wedding day as well and were sure that it would bring this bride and groom luck too!
We were able to seat all 34 guests in the main dining room to witness the ceremony and later took family photos in front of the fireplace. The guests were ushered into the restaurant space for a cocktail reception while our staff reset the inn for dinner. Tiffany thought of everything and used the elegant decor of the inn to complement her table settings, with gorgeous gold chargers and candle votives the place felt magical!
Tiffany and Kevin were such a delight to work with on their special day, and we are so honored to have been chosen to host their special day!
